KIND Catholics-can you please help?

You can't take these things too seriously. It wasn't right, but Jesus warned that we wouldn't be loved by the world. Even Jesus was crucified, and we know he was perfect. Hold your head up, know God loves you, and forgive him and let him explain his words to God. Even the best Christians have days where their tongue gets the best of them.

Some Catholics have anger issues like other people like that James guy seems too. Some people like to be mean online because they can get away with it. I am a convert from a protestant denomination that hated Catholics. I am now a 3rd order Franciscan ( Secular Franciscan Order ) I did a lot of searching in my day and the person named Dottie and the person after her seemed to have fine answers. I does seem that God is calling you so please stay tuned in to Jesus. You can only be you so do not try to change who you are. I am never going to be nominated for sainthood but that does not matter a whit. I have found that with Gods help if I keep trying to walk with Jesus on a daily basis everything will be ok. You will not find happiness by quitting church. You will find happiness in doing kind of like the little flower did. Take pleasure in both the bad and the good that come your way.God Bless

I wouldn't pay too much attention to the thumbs up or down. They seem to appear randomly I think.

The first question I asked here was if anyone could give me details of Muslim protests against terrorism, such as the one by Muslims for Secular Democracy in London last year. I was told that I was more of a terrorist than the Al Qaeda guys, presumably based on that question. The guy who said that got 5 thumbs up to 1 thumb down. I am pretty sure he is wrong, so I don't think the thumbs are very meaningful.

As for being 'cold' I seriously doubt if James is anything other than a complete *** who likes to get smug and self-righteous on the internet. Your questions do not indicate that you are a cold person. Some people just love to criticize others. Normally those people struggle with their own self-esteem, and like to feel superior to others. It is really quite common actually.

Trust us, James is NOT channeling Jesus. He can barely spell, and he writes like a 12 year old. Don't you think Jesus would write better than that? You're taking what other people say online WAY too seriously, and I would recommend you take a break from online forums in general. YOU know if you're a good person, and you don't need anyone else to tell you whether or not you are.

I think he is trying to tell you that you are not listening to God. He wasn't very tactful about it. Exodus 10:11 Hard heartedness can be another way of saying you aren't following what God is telling you to do.

On that part James would be right. You are way to upset over his answer. God would tell you to listen to Jesus and not to James on line if James wasn't making himself clear as Jesus would! No pun intended since my user name is Jesus. Every one gets in a hurry also in life and an answer on line if it doesn't help you may not be the best way to search for God and his truth.

Study your Bible and pray, maybe find out if your church has a study group or something that will help you clarify the Bible and God's word. It is super hard on line to study the Bible. If you need others understanding and help it is better to try and seek that in your church. A priest or some other member where you attend church may have some suggestions.

Relax a little bit as well. No one can see into your heart but Jesus and God so nobody can figure out anything completely about you from a few questions on line.

I will pray for you so that Jesus will send you the help you are seeking so that his love and knowledge might sooth your heart and mind. Don't give up on Christ just because somebody didn't have the right answer on here. Faith in God takes patience and time and you have to build a relationship with him more so than building relationships on line. Jesus is right beside you waiting for you to ask for his help. Just talk to him he will show you his way. God bless you and keep you.

There are a lot of mean spirited, spiteful and immature people on this board who don't think twice about anyone's feelings before pounding out a message. They have no respect for religion or God.....so of course they will attack Jesus' followers. You are not a cold hearted person, you're a child of God loved dearly by him and will one day be with him, free of all the garbage you read here. Keep that in mind.

Never hate yourself. That person is just mean. Don't hate all Christians because of that one person.

Jesus loves you no matter what.

How you're so easily hurt shows that you have feelings (more so than that other person) and are therefore not cold at all.

People say things on this forum they would probably never say in person. This is anonymous, so people feel they can say anything. Don't pay attention to them when they try to hurt your feelings. Mary you need to not look at what people say but look at what Jesus says. People will always disappoint and hurt us, but Jesus will never, never do that. He cares too much about you. If you ever hear someone say they are channelling they are being used by the devil to destroy. Remember, the devil tries to imitate Christ, so he pretends to be like Christ. That is one way he can destroy people. If you have a Bible, read and believe HIs word. Christ does not make you feel bad about yourself, He may make you feel bad about your actions so that you stop doing something wrong, but He does not make you feel bad about yourself.

I think you could do with a little more spiritual confidence on your part. Learn all you can about what the Church believes and practices, and WHY. The more you know, the easier it will be to spot people like James who are full of @&#.
