Do you get the point/ message of my poem?
It is based on a personal experience, but I was wondering if anyone could relate or understand what it is that I am talking about. Thank you so much!
You
Are an interrogator
Finding all my crimes
That I did not
Commit
But telling me
To plea the fifth
Cause they are as bad
As the lies you spin
To convince me so
YAY! I don't feel so stupid after all!
Yes ma, someone is. He is my father, who I love more than life itself, but he makes me the scapegoat for everything. And when I cry because of it, I have no one to cry to. He and my mother, they always comforted me. But now I am not a little girl, and I don't think they love me as much because of it. I miss my old pa, I want to be his little girl again. It is so lonley over here.
A challenge, well blue child, I could try. But for now, it is what it is, and we will leave as is.
I don't know if it is plead instead of plea, I'll find out.
Well, H.D., the feeling I have is very abrupt and to the point. There is not much to say.......
Thank you, autumnlvr, I did not want to go look it up. So, I suppose if two people have said that it should be plead, that is enough for me. If anyone else thinks so too, please varify.
I have such a problem with possitivity, I am much more a glass half empty kind of a person *sigh*. I try though, which I think must prove something.
Yes, it is plead.

Yes, someone breaking down your self-esteem....
or you're listening to that evil voice within that's trying to do it for you.
Sweetheart, he still loves you. But now, you are becoming a reflection of him in society's eyes. He wants you to meet its approval. Sometimes, we, as parents, put our own insecurities upon our children. Try to separate his need (valid or not) to do this from doubting his love of you.

it's "plead" the fifth
And don't we ALL feel interrogated at some time in our lives. Our shortcomings (I like to call them such, rather than "our sins") are ever so much more visible to some, than are our victories, our talents, our abilities; etc. A negative world finds the negatives and re-inforces them. We come to feel like that our negatives rule. NOT TRUE.
Positive power overcomes every time.
A simple write that cuts into the core of being human. We have ALL felt and experienced the interrogator!!!!

Its pretty straight forward and easy to connect the dots, I DO get the point.
Edit-
Actually I think you could have put more life into to make it confusing to the people without a poetic mind, just for a challenge.

Ha! You are growing! Much more succinct and spare than other things I have read from you - and that, in my opinion is harder to do. :)
