SSD as boot and 2 other drives as RAID0 as D:\ drive?
Hi I'm using an Asus P6T Motherboard. I've been using RAID0 with two 500GB WD drives. Recently I got a SSD. I tried to put the SSD as boot and the other two 500GB as D drive but got BSOD at boot. How can I setup my SSD as C:\ and the other two 500GB drives as D:\ in RAID0 mode?

You may have to load the raid drivers on the SSD. They should be on the mobo CD.
Try with just the SSD, make sure that boots ok first. Then, check the BIOS raid settings (there is some CTRL-I key I think), and check that the raid is configured properly, and all members are present. You may have to re-initialize the raid, as it may think it is still the boot device in the BIOS. Check boot device order carefully.
Good luck...
Source(s): Run P6T with Velociraptor 10k rpm disks as Raid0 for C:, 1TB single drive for D:. All 3 show up in the Raid config screen in the BIOS, two are members, third is not.... - 1 decade ago
what did you use to boot before?
you can just reinstall the OS onto the SSD and name it Z:\ or something and it will still boot normally, you'll just have a dual booting computer
