i almost did an 8 minute mile, i was at .91 miles at a speed that would be exactly 8 :D tips?
i just couldn't go one more minute, i felt like i needed to breathe in deeper but i couldn't :( but im so close! :) encouragement is always welcomes :D

Well, if you felt you needed to breathe deeper, but couldn't, then hey, I'd say you reached your "limit."
Just rest enough, and next time you're out there you should be able to reach your goal. Remember, you build up to it. Time will come when you laugh at how many of your records you've broken, but never really thought you would.
Make sure you're hydrated WAY BEFORE your run, not RIGHT BEFORE or during. I've seen a situation where one of my clients drank way too much shortly before a session and eventually vomited his breakfast.
Also, have short goals that you reset. Do it increments - Do 0.1 miles in 48 seconds; once you accomplish this, resolve to do it again at the same pace.
