Looking for 2 colors that go with gold.?
I really was thinking about pink, gold, and black. (A parisian theme) Then I considered pink, gold, and ivory. The groom says I can do what I want but I don't want to be selfish so now I want to include his favorite color, blue. So now I'm thinking gold, cream, and some shade of blue. Is there a shade of blue that goes well with gold, I'm not compromising the color gold because I would like to wear a gold wedding gown. HELP!
Now he says we can't do navy and gold because those are Michigan State colors and he's an Ohio state fan. ( I know I'm marrying a lunatic) We live in cleveland. The wedding date is December 31st. Im not really concerned about the colors because it will be an indoors wedding and you can transform the inside of buliding to any theme you want so any seasons colors will work for me. i just cannot compromise gold.

Navy would be pretty for a fall/winter wedding. I think a baby blue, gold and cream would be pretty for a spring or summer wedding.

I am planning a wedding with a victorian gown of baby blue with a three quarter length cream lace over it. Groom will be in a Navy blue tux and maid of honor will wear off white with gold trim. Flowers will be a mixture of daisies with yellow tea roses and a spinkleing of blue ribbon. They will be small bouqets rather than the standard bridle bouquet. The maid of honor will carry the same as the bride or a small basket of the same flowers. I am keeping the flowers small for I want all the attention on the wedding party and the unique blend of color and balance even with the maid of honor wearing off white.There will be no bridesmaids or ushers just a small simple wedding of celebration on a small budget of under $2000 and it can be done with elegances. No freebies involved. I have put it all together this year right down to the table settings and the meal is planned and it all fits into the budget. The perfect wedding.

Pink is too light a wine color would go splendid with gold and a royal or sapphire blue

scroll to the bottom of the above link. Although, its a bedroom setting, I think the correct color them can be transfered to a warm banquet them.....and the gold color is included. Hope all goes well for you. Good luck
