Proof that prayer works and that there are miracles.?
It was a miracle that UT beat Nebraska in Lincoln. Last night when I went to bed, I prayed that UT would beat Nebraska. Indeed they did. Prayer works, and God is on our side. What do you think?

You may have something there. Please continue the experiment with a prayer that you be the top winner in the next Powerball drawing. If it works in every drawing for the rest of the year, I'll take another look at the proposition.

The teaching of the Bible is clear that if a prayer is offered in accordance with God’s will, it will be answered (1 John 5:14). However, it is also clear that not all prayers meet this standard (an excellent example of which would be praying over the results of a sports competition (or some other trivial matter))

miracles do happen, ive had many happen to me so far in my life. but you shouldent be praying for sports events because thats not a real miracle, a real miracle is when a baby is born or a soldier comes back from war without a scratch or when your life is falling apart and God picks you back up on your feet ready to battle more, thats what miracles are
