3 AnswersOther - Health9 years agoWhy was this removed? "Spiritually Joking, when Jesus rose from the grave..."?
Does anyone know why this question was removed.
"Spiritually Joking, when Jesus rose from the grave,What happened to all those people that saw him?"
This question, while objectionable to some, doesn't seem to reach the standard for being removed. It is much less appalling than many other questions.
Was there something written in "now add a little more detail" that was worse than the question?

12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoSuicide bombers: Why Muslims but not Catholics?
The Catholic IRA in Northern Ireland was big on bombs, but there were never any intentional suicide bombers. The Muslims who are currently engaged in violent reprisals in the Middle East, see suicide bombings as just another facet of their strategy. Why the difference?
24 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy do atheists know more about religion than religous people?
A recent Pew Forum poll revealed that atheists scored higher on a questionnaire concerning religion than did religious people. However, atheists did not out score white evangelicals on questions specific to the Bible and Christianity. Mormons 7.9, white evangelicals 7.6 and atheists 6.7 questions correct out of 9. Still 3rd out of 9 discreet groups. Why do atheists, in general, know more about religion than religious people?

It was a miracle that UT beat Nebraska in Lincoln. Last night when I went to bed, I prayed that UT would beat Nebraska. Indeed they did. Prayer works, and God is on our side. What do you think?
16 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIs the debate on the relative morality of Christians and atheists a red herring?
The relative morality of Christians and Atheists is an ongoing battle in the “God debates.” Professional atheists such as Harris and Hitchens engage in such debates regularly, and many similar topics pop up on venues such as this one. Christopher Hitchens in live debates, strives to convince us all, that in fact, atheists are more moral and ethical, than are religious / Christian people. While this may or may not be true, is it not irrelevant concerning the possible existence of a supernatural power? When unable to substantiate faith with facts, religious people sometimes retreat to a position of “Whether God exists or not, being a Christian makes me a more moral person.” In effect they are saying that even if the belief is false, having that belief, by default, invests them with moral superiority. That those people exist who are perceived to be most moral, Martin Luther King, Mother Teresa et al, offers no more evidence for the existence of a deity than do those people who are perceived as the most immoral, Hitler, Stalin, et al, offer evidence that a deity does not exist. I would suggest that the issue of morality only serves to distract from the one true question. "Is the super natural extant”?
