Suicide bombers: Why Muslims but not Catholics?

1) More often than not the IRA was more interested on inflicting property damage in encouraging the English soldiers to leave Northern Ireland. They usually called a warning in first unless it was a military target.

2) The leadership of the Catholic church condemned their actions and threatened to excommunicate any person involved with the IRA. So for those who believed in their church, there were no virgins on the other side to greet them; probably dozens of demons waiting to tear their balls off. Suicide is also classed as the unforgivable sin (except for medical or faulty prescriptions) against the Holy Spirit in the Catholic church. There lies the difference.

3) The only thing in common is that they use these urban guerrilla terror tatics because they are unhappy with the way the powers that be are treating them and they know it is impossible to compete against more powerful high tech armies in the conventional sense. Like a leader said in the Algerian fight against France 50 years ago,

" We'll trade in our terror and bombing tactics for your heavy guns, Mirage fighters and navy any day!"

Wow talk about being stereotypical, i'm not Muslim or Catholic, but seriously, it was kinda unnecessary to group the religion like that. The IRA were Nationalists, you shouldn't label them as Catholics. I know plenty of Catholics who support the Monarch and Norn Iron etc.

Anyway, yeah, the IRA are more cowardly then the muslim extremists. Also the Muslim extremists believe they'll be rewarded for suicide whereas the IRA don't believe in any benefit from it...

There you go! and i apologise for ranting, but those generalised stereoypes are what have started conflicts in places like NI, and that upsets me.

many of the subject concerns that the international has confronted by the years have been because of the fact of variations in faith. regrettably, suicide bombers make headlines and as some PR human beings will inform you there is not any such ingredient as undesirable press. there have been many human beings throughout the time of history that have been prepared to die for what they have faith in yet i'm unable to think of of too many stuff that i might particularly desire to die for, extraordinarily if i'm inflicting it myself. the region in Northern eire (Catholics and Protestants) has been at circumstances very violent with many deaths and Europe has an prolonged history of wars of one u . s . a . against yet another and Catholics verses Protestants. Suicide bombers and different terrorists are probable mentally such as those individuals that pass out and shoot up procuring department stores or serial killers, i don't think of that any faith might desire to declare those human beings as members! As a international we would desire to pass far off from human beings thinking that they have got a corner on faith and that throughout the time of basic terms their faith is the marvelous one, we would desire to stay greater by the Golden Rule and that's that we cope with individuals the way that we would desire to be dealt with!

Muslims dont care who gets blown up .

The IRA would give warnings of up to an hour before these would explode to minimise civilian casualtys.

The IRA do not live in a fantasy land where if they kill themselves they will have all these virgins to take advantage off.

The IRA where willing to die for there beliefs the 10 hungerstrikers during the 80s is an example.

Many Catholics have more money, more resources and a better standard of living than suicide Bombers... basically Cathaholics have more to live for... suicide bombers have very little to live for... thats why they need to bring others down with them.

72 Virgins to Nothing

72 virgins wait for any Muslim or even Arab who commit suicide. However, no one waits for non-Muslims!! Therefore the question is, "why non-Muslims commit suicide"?

According to the ever-growing myth, the Australian Government is obliged to provide 144 000 virgins for 2000 Australian citizens who have committed suicide last year alone! However the United Nations is not providing (80 000 X 72 = how many virgins?) virgins to 80 000 farmers of the world who have committed suicide in the year 2007 too!! Legend says most of these farmers are neither Muslims nor religious!!!

Nonetheless, the US President George Bush saluted the Jews of Masada who have murdered their own children and then committed suicide to avoid capture by the Romans as "pure Jews"!

However, when a Palestinian kid finds his/her;

1.Mother was murdered by the Zionist bomb,

2.Father was gunned down by the Israeli terrorists,

3.Sister was dishonored by the Jewish criminals and

4.Life is empty and hopeless.

In desperation, if this Palestinian kid threw his/her body against all of those injustices and barbaric crimes; some good people in the "west" love to find 72 virgins and many cruel comments like Nazi-Zionists/Israelis/"Jews".

One must wonder how the hell prejudice, bigotry, double slandered and hypocrisy mentioned above growing every year?!

August 10, Cookstown, Northern Ireland A car-bomb partially exploded under a PSNI civilian worker's car. He escaped uninjured. Nearby residents, a creche and a supermarket were evacuated until the device was made safe.

August 14, Lurgan, Northern Ireland Three children are injured when a "no-warning" bomb exploded in a bin, in what the PSNI claim was an attempt to "kill police or injure police officers providing a service to this community as they responded to a neighbouring area following a very vague warning that a device had been left at a local school.

October 4, Derry, Northern Ireland: A carbomb left by the Real IRA explodes outside an Ulster Bank branch, injuring two police officers and causing extensive damage.
