Should shareholders vote on executive compensation?

Should the government pass a law enabling shareholders to vote online, or in person on executive compensation?

    No. The consumer should.

    Publish the salaries of all the levels of the corporation and let me decide if I still want to spend my money with your company.

    Justify why you charge what you charge and let me see your compensation. I can make the decision myself.

    Who is the government to tell anyone how much they can be compensated? Government doesn't tell me how to run my businessm who to hire, who to fire and never will!
