BQ: I have friends who hunt. I don't necessarily like it but they use the meat to feed their families. Fair enough & responsible. At least they are not out there like some jerks who mame & kill animals just for the fun of it...that is animal cruelty.

BQ- If the hunting is necessary for survival (Inuit) no it's not cruelty. I question hunting for sport since there is so much meat and other forms of protein available in supermarkets. It's a complex question since hunting is slightly more ethical then factory farming.
