I am truly sorry for your loss.

When I had my early miscarriage they said that it was a spontaneous abortion. There was no reason as often there isn't. Stress can cause issues in pregnancy but it would have to be extreme stress in order to contribute to the loss. IT is not your fault. I will be praying for you.

On another note, if you plan on TTC again I would make sure to de-stress as much as possible so you don't have any more issues. I read that laughter can help. If you laugh at least 5 times each day it lowers your stress level:)

I wasn't sure if I wanted to try again after our loss but the doc told me to take a month off to mourn and rest. The next month I was pregnant:) As long as there is not an underlining reason for the loss we are often more fertile after a miscarriage. I guess that was somewhat comforting to me.

I suggest getting some friends together and spend some time mourning and relaxing. If you need to talk, find someone you trust and just let it all out. Let the healing begin.

    Prayers and blessings :)

There's 50/50 people that say stress doesn't or does cause miscarriage. Stress most likely can cause a miscarriage because when you're stressed your blood pressure and plenty of other things is raised and stress can also cause depression which messes with the body even more. I'm sorry. =/

I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks and I asked if there was anything I could do in the future to prevent it and he told me no, that nothing I did caused the miscarriage. So although it isn't good for your pregnancy to be stressed, according to my doctor, that wasn't what caused it.

I think the jury's still out on that one. Although I did read in a book about things that DON'T contribute to miscarriage, and stress was one of them.
