Yes
Depending on what version of Windows you were running, it is simple to bypass and change the admin of the PC if you know how to do it.
It is also easy to reset a "BIOS" password if you know how to rest that as well.
Another way around the security would be to remove the drive and make it a slave to another PC so you can read the data.

Depends on what type of lock you had on. A password on your account isn't hard to bypass. Fortunately, most laptop thefts are after the hardware, not your data. If there's no easy way to access the hard drive, it will just be reformatted by most casual thieves.
If you actually had Windows Pro (or higher) with encryption activated, the information is secure against all but the most determined hackers or government agencies.

Passwords can be found with programs that you can find online. So Yes personal information is accessable. A hard drive can be removed and the contents can be viewed on another computer is another way. Encrypted data is harder to get information. I would change passwords to email accounts.

If you mean encrypted then yes, it will just take longer. If you mean just locked at the log on screen then yes, in about 10 minutes. Most laptops are stolen for their value, not for personal data, but you should think long and hard about what might be on it.
