Can you believe they fined Steeler Harrison for doing his job?
Why don`t they just play flag football since they do not want anyone getting hurt?

this is exactly what they are paid to do, this kind of brings the argument for the 18 game season, these guys work only 16 hours a year and get paid bank and they ***** about one more game? seriously, man up and do ur job, if its too much to handle, you picked the wrong career path

Yes. Today's players are bigger and faster than ever. Helmet contact and any blow to the head of any player should be dealt with harshly. You can tackle without being vicious and hitting anyone above the shoulders shows me an intent to do bodily harm. When I was playing football hitting above the waist was a no-no, not because of any injury consideration but simply because it was not good form. Most of the players in the NFL don't tackle anyway, they hit and it seems that they are more concerned about being on an ESPN highlight reel than they are about the well-being of their fellow co-workers (and yes, the opposing players are in the same business and belong to the same organization and union: it's a brotherhood).

******* nut up and play some ******* football already. jeez im sick of hearing all these complaints from players "he ran at me and hit me really hard and now i have a headache he is a big meanie and should be suspended" if you want to play in the nfl then you should know if you are an offensive player chances are you are going to get ****** up on a few plays a season if not then you arent doing your job. i personaly believe that concussions are a joke the people who get 3 or 4 minor concusions (like the ones where you sit out for 3 days of practice and come out on sunday and play again) are not going to have any problems in life. if you get the big *** concusion like season ending then yeah you may have some brain damage but whatever they are nfl players they were made to run catch throw or hit ******* hard not be intelectual genius's or some **** bottom line if yo cant deal with gettin your **** rocked a few times a year leave the nfl cuz god knows what that 32 million dollar check can do to get rid of a headache

I'm a steelers fan for life, harrisons hit was a little over the top, i think he could have exhibited a little more control than that. however i do enjoy big hits, the helmet to helmet thing is a concern

Yes, I hate all these "sissy" rules in football, I can see why he is upset. Football will never be the same. Cribs even said that's the way he always played. But the fine would'nt make me wanna quit.

Mohamed Massaquoi and Joshua Cribbs were doing their job too. They have every right to be on the field and should not have to fear for their lives because the defender wants to be "aggressive".

They are suppose to be playing tackle football, not knockout football! If the don't know how to use proper techniques in tackling someone then they should get out of football and go wrassle!

He was way out of line, and the fans that like that sort of thing should go back to wrestling where they belong.
