What to get my wife for Christmas?

Besides jewelry I would like ideas on what to get my wife for Christmas. She complains that I never put any thought into the gifts. Gift certificates don't cut it and she doesn't like spa's. Getting her restaurant stuff is selfish. Any other ideas?

Find an excuse to go shopping with her..for example, is there a birthday coming up? go to a mall where there are a variety of stores. This way, maybe as you browse, you will discover things that draw her interest

Is she fashionable at all? Maybe a really nice purse, like Coach. (Then you could put small more thoughtful things inside, like some of those spa socks that make your feet fell soooo good.)

Start listening to her for cues. Good luck!

Hopefully this will help, I wanted for a long time the turtle doves from the movie home alone 2. My husband spend years looking for them an I thought he forgot, well 2 christmas ago he made them from special clay, painted them an gloss them. Thats was the best present i ever recieved from him. Is there anything shes wanted badly be4, that she might think u forgot or that she even forgot about?

You could always ask Santa Claus to write her a personalized letter letting her know that she is on the Nice List because of the specific good things you know she does. The source link has more info.

What does she like? What are her passions? Play into that.

For instance, my wife loves live theatre, hand spinning fiber into wool, music, knitting and horses. So, I could get her anything involving any of those things, and she will appreciate it.

The idea of "putting thought into it" is to show that you really do listen to your wife's interests and passions.

Make her something, write her something, cook her something, take her somewhere and tell her you love her.
