Who has the Mirena or has had?
What is your experience with the Mirena? Ever since I got it i think it happens when I am suppose to get my period I get mild cramps and I can feel them through out my left leg it doesn't hurt but it's uncomfortable. I have told the doc she said it's not normal but she doesn't quite understand what I am saying because it's hard for me to explain and hard for them to understand. I am also getting a lot of infections I have had for 2 years but it's the only thing that works for me that's why I don't take it out.
I get vaginal infections, Yeast infection almost every month. I am so glad the leg cramp is normal. another thing is I always feel that I am pregnant but I am not. I had the depo and I got pregnant so don't want to go through that ever again.
I like it too that's why I don't want to take it out until I am ready to have another baby.

I have it n its so weird that you said you get pains that shoot down your leg because the same thing happened to me. It stopped eventually but it scared the hell outta me lol but my doc also said she didnt kno but its nothing dangerous its just one way our body reacts to it. Ive had mine for 2 1/2 yrs now n i absolutley LOVE IT!! i havent even had a pregnancy scare lol... its one of the only things that work for me too. I had severe cramps for about 5months after i got my inserted but like i said it eventually went away. and may i ask what types of infections?

Merina is lovely and targeted however just about cheesy. I had it put in about a year and 6 months ago, and now I am currently 8 weeks pregnant.
It has caused nothing but problems! I bled for 6 months on and off after getting it, and then had intensely irregular bleeding until I started to feel sharp pains in my sides, went to the doctor to have it removed and he said "I can't find the strings.." they sent me in for an ultrasound and found out I was 5 weeks pregnant.
