Why does Bloomberg wanna decide whether or not I wanna eat trans fat or drink beer or smoke cigarettes........?
in my own house? All the stuff i love thats unhealthy he either wants to raise taxes on it so high that I cant afford it or outlaw it. Cigarettes now cost $15 a pack in NY. And now hes going after the Indian Reservations thats selling it at an affordable price. I cant get french fries or fried foods that taste good cause he banned the trans fat! So I have to eat nasty bland french fries.
He also wants a soda tax so I have to pay more money for soda.
Who does he think he is? Im a grown azz man who works for living! Hes a billionaire probably profiting off of those taxes he things is for my own good! why cant he leave me alone and stay out of my kitchen and my life. What happened to my freedom of choice??
WTF is Bloombergs problem and who are these people voting for this azzhole?
WHAT ELSE IS HE GONNA GO AFTER!!

I think that its a good idea to tax the things that make us unhealthy, but 15 bucks for a pack of cigarrettes is too much. I don't know what they used to be up there where you live. They are like 5 bucks where I am from.
I think these types of taxes are smart, and open the way for healthier, tasty foods.
If you haven't noticed, America is unhealthy. Now, if it wasn't a problem in America, the taxes could come down on the bad products some but I don't think that people understand what healthy behavior is.
So, in closing, taxes on unhealthy products is smart, but over doing it is not cool as its basically just the same as outlawing it.

The best thing for you and everyone else who's against being babysit-ted all the time, is to show up at these city council meetings and state your opinion. If nothing else, send a comments/email to newspapers, senate, council members. You have to hit the problem at the source if you want to make a change.

Hope you don't have children. I don't want to pay for their Medicaid or your Medicare when you have a heart attack or get cancer or have deformed children from all the poisons in the foods you "choose" to eat. You have never complained about the liquor taxes before - it's all the same - moral and morale hazard. I hope the feds and states tax soda and fast food and potato chips and ban them from food stamps because I am tired of paying for your SOCIALISTIC health care.

Insurance claims.
When Insurance will not pay, people go to county hospitals. Most cannot pay for the help they get from the hospitals. These hospitals are now in debt.
These foods and drinks are what makes most people unhealthy.

I bought a pack in midtown for $12.50 last weekend, but I feel your pain. Do what I did. Move to VA.

This is where the left is leading the nation. (Yeah, Bloomy is a RINO). These people want to limit and then control every aspect of your life. Don't: smoke, eat bacon, drink, eat trans fats, BBQ, use a lawn mower, etc.
Shun them all and relegate them to the scrap heap of history.

Yes. He is a control freak, not a leader. It is difficult to control the actions of free people, so he wants to take away your choices to make it easier.

Yes, he'll most likely outlaw bacon next. Seeing as the smell will offend muslims in their victory mosque!

He knows that you aren't smart enough to make those kind of decisions for yourself. Liberals are like that.

Now you know how Cannabis smokers feel.
What baffles my mind is how is he still mayor after all these years?
