Interesting Organizations for a Speech?

I need to do a 6-8:30 minute speech on a non-profit organization.

The Speech Requirements:

1) Must have 6 sources (articles with authors, etc. not just plain websites) and one MUST BE from someone who works for the organization

2) Must be 6-8:30 minutes.

The speech's main points have to be:

1) What the problem is that the organization is addressing.

2) What our class money will to do help solve it.

I'm having extreme difficulty finding non-profit organization that have other credible sources and that fill up the time requirement. I was trying to find an organization that had a list of supplies so I could go to the store and price things out that our money can buy (my class will donate $70 to the winning organization), which would fill up the main point 2. But, I need help!

Any non-profit organizations, sources, tips, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

I cannot use The Red Cross, UNICEF, American Cancer Society, or Alzheimer's Association as they have already been "claimed" by other students.

OK, you might try some of the non-profit political organizations - see Heritage Org website below, of the Hoover Institute at Stanford.. Both will have lots of material....Or even World Vision for poverty relief

Maree you're just as ignorant as Richards if you believe this conservative propaganda. If you don't understand the fact the White people are the majority in this country - thus, they don't need to have white labeled groups because by defacto the group is already white. For example there's a black caucus and a Hispanic caucus in the U.S. Congress; now according to Richards and other liked minded imbeciles they would be labeled racists if there was a so-called "white caucus" well there doesn't need to be one because it's by de facto a white congress. White's still have the power consolidated in their hands. Look at the Senate, it's essentially a White Senate, but it's just called the Senate. There is currently one African-American Senator in there, 2 Asians, and 2 Hispanics. Thus, 95% white. That goes for the rest of those sophomoric examples he listed. Those ethnic groups exist because they're a MINORITY and whites already have institutions that are predominately white. I just gave you an example. If you can't see that, then you really have an intellectual deficiency.

Any local library or nursing home would fit perfectly.
