Was it a mistake visiting my friend and her newborn in the hospital?

Because all day all I've been able to think about is how much I want another baby! ah!

Update:

Edit: I soo would but m,y husband is not on board and I understand his reasons why, I sure do have that urge though! lol!

Update 2:

edit: i'm seeing people didn't get that this was more or less a joke.....i mean yes it did make me think about having another one but obivously i don't actually think visiting her was a mistake. lol

probably -in the future, make your visits after mom & babe go home.

Visit her at home in a few days and ask how she is sleeping, that ought to cure the urge! Or just set yourself an alarm clock to go off every two hours around the clock and see how you feel in a couple days :). New babies are adorable but don't forget the sheer volume of work that comes with the perfectly healthy births- never mind those that have issues like c-section or colic.

I know what you mean! My cousin and my friend both just had babies recently, I have been putting off going to see them! Our son is only 6 months, so we aren't ready for another one yet, although we have been talking about when to have our next recently. They are so cute and tiny when they are newborn, makes you remember :) Enjoy the baby or babies you have now :) Maybe soon down the road your hubby will change his mind and you will be welcoming another bundle and it will be your friend wanting another one lol.

It's normal to feel that way. Just try to remember the sleepless nights, temper tantrums, not being able to have nice things in your house, and financial strain. If that doesn't help, sit down with a fancy cut of fish and nice glass of wine, two things you couldn't enjoy for almost a year while pregnant. :)

Ask her to show you her hospital bill and describe in detail every ache and pain she has. That should help put off the urge for a bit!
