Doing CPR on Women, Renewing My Certification?

Im Renewing My CPR certification this week, and i want to make sure i remember the right stuff. I got it nailed when it comes to infants and men, but what about women? Im pretty sure that u compress right under the breasts, with your hands under them. Am i correct? would like someone else who is certified to let me know thanks.

No, you do not do that. You just compress the chest. Breast separate when women lie down, and it does not hinder where you put your hands. You put them in the same place you put them on a male. Essentially just in the center of the chest. Not boobs. Chest.

It depends on the organization that you have your certification through. Some are every year some are up to every 3 years. It also depends on if you need if for a job or not. If you have only had the class once or twice I would recommend redoing it at least once a year as a refresher. CPR is about saving someone's life, not a great thing to be rusty on. The card will with say good for X years from said date. Or good until .
