Should I buy my daughter this comforter from Walmart?

I don't like Walmart and don't EVER shop there for anything. Now my daughter has been looking for bedding, and she likes this one there. Should I give in and buy it, or keep looking?

You have a valid point. Wal-Mart has been on the black list in many union halls for years. They treat the employee's like dirt, pay substandard wages, have been sued countless times for forcing overtime and not paying for it along with a number of other things. BUT No one except the wal-mart employee's have any right to change the policies. I did like them better when Sam was running things. Remember the big sign in the front of the store with the caption Putting Americans to Work ? They even had a close proximity of the number of American jobs created. I did read this summer about how the big W is helping with small local farmers by buying direct from them, instead of doing the Democrats bidding and buying from huge conglomerate,(Chinese) owned farms. Maybe they just might be seeing the bigger picture????

Why would you hesitate to buy something just because it's in a store that you don't like? I don't like alot of stores ( Target being my main offender ) but if they have a bargain or something that I can't find elsewhere I'm going to go for it. If your daughter really likes it, get it. Buy it online if you don't want to go in WalMart. You'll probably just spend more buying bedding somewhere else. WallyWorld has good quality stuff. I love it.

If it's something that would make your daughter happy what are you waiting for? Just because YOU don't like to shop at Walmart whats more important your daughter being happy or YOU being happy buying a comforter in a store that YOU like???????????

Keep looking, if you can't find anything else, then yes buy from Walmart. I understand how you feel, but seriously.....It is a company that keeps a whole lot of people employed.

If that is her preference and seems a good deal then give her the money to buy it so you don;t have to visit the store. Is it for sale somewhere else?

I agree with you about walmart.

  • Don't judge a store just because it may be called Wal-Mart! If it has something you like, go for it! Thats a classic Don't judge a book by its cover!

if you consider the work of finding another one and the misery your child will cause you for not buying her the one she wants when it is affordable I think that it is obvious that you should buy it

I think it's an ugly comforter, but if you can live with it, what difference does it make where you buy it.
