WHAT WOULD YOU DO...SERIOUSLY?
if you are taking Celebrex that has a side effect of heart attacks...and now have a HEART problem?!?!? What would you personally do? I'm 62. It doesn't run in my family and I am not a high risk person. I go back to the Dr. on the 27th to discuss an angioplasty where they would then, if needed, put a stint..........if not..........I get to have a bypass! This is so foreign to myself and my family. I'm flabergasted!

I take several different kinds of pain killers daily and I know the risks that comes with it. It's my choice to kill the pain even though the medications have side effects. If the medication >could< give me an heart attack and I have another type of heart problem then I would ask for other options of medication and if there were none then I would rather kill the pain than live with it. I'd take the risk.
As for heart problems, many different kinds can happen to people no matter of what kind of genes and what kind of lifestyle they have. If you are having problems wrapping you mind around it all then you should find someone to talk to, either someone that you know that has gone through it all or your doctor or nurse. It's shocking to find out that you are much more ill than you ever thought you were but it's also good news since you then have a chance to do something about it before it kills you.
