1 AnswerCleaning & Laundry8 years agoBLUE HIBISCUS-BUT FLOWERS ARE PURPLE?
Hello, A while back I asked about my blue hibiscus and why it was drying out. I was told that it was because it was nearing autumn and like the rest of the trees of this genre, they do this. I now want to know if I should be pruning it. Please help, I love these beautiful purplish flowers!
1 AnswerOther - Home & Garden9 years agoMy Blue Hibiscus doesn't look so good.?
Just 3 wks ago, it was in full bloom with those purple flowers then some possums decided to park themselves in my shed. That's when I noticed my shrubs and the hibiscus looking sad. The ground around the hibiscus was flattened as if they laid there and maybe did their business there too. Also, the heat has been horrible. Could these things have come at the time when it's done with blooming? The trunk and branches are still green but the leaves are shriveling! Is there a time for pruning? Not in summer, right? I don't know what to do, I added some fresh soil around the base. Can anyone tell me what to do for my favorite shrub?

1 AnswerCelebrities9 years agoWHAT WOULD YOU DO...SERIOUSLY?
if you are taking Celebrex that has a side effect of heart attacks...and now have a HEART problem?!?!? What would you personally do? I'm 62. It doesn't run in my family and I am not a high risk person. I go back to the Dr. on the 27th to discuss an angioplasty where they would then, if needed, put a stint..........if not..........I get to have a bypass! This is so foreign to myself and my family. I'm flabergasted!
3 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoIs anyone battling insomnia?
I have no problem falling asleep at 3 to 5 in the am. I've tried to go to bed And fall asleep at 11pm or so but I get so frustrated when I can't fall asleep that I have stopped trying. Pills are out because I went that route with Excedrin PM but then I couldn't be without them; yeah, addiction's are not my best answer. What do you do to rid yourself of this problem?
6 AnswersOther - Diseases1 decade agoHave you noticed your elbows lately?
No matter how much I wash n scrub my elbows, they seem to always look dark like they're dirty. I've even tried some of that bleach for the face on them and it seemed to work somewhat but it didn't last. I think a lot of women may not pay attention to this or they have the same problem cuz I see it all the time.
Does anyone have an antedote for this???
2 AnswersInjuries1 decade agoSharing Geraniums-Transplanting?
I'd like to share my geraniums with my daughter for her new house. I read up on propergating but taking a cutting & waiting for the roots to grow takes a while. Is it possible to split the roots from the ground to transplant it to her garden? Anyone have quicker ways to do this? Thanks!
4 AnswersGarden & Landscape1 decade agoPink Jasmine (Jasminum Polyanthum) in Trouble!?
It's got a tangle at the top where it rests on a redwood fence. Closer to the trunk (if you will) it's looking a bit ragged and a lighter shade of green like it's dying. It's already blooming all over but I could swear it's stiffled somehow. Should I chance cutting off the top at the tangle? I haven't fertilized it yet; maybe that's what it needs...help?
1 AnswerGarden & Landscape1 decade agoAny Wusses in the Room?
A few months ago, I had finally found this place where everything isn't about sex and stupidities. However, I haven't been on here in a long while because of unforseen interruptions. Now what I see is that you are all feeding on each other's negativity. Please don't give up! You can get it back! There's no place like this place and it's because of the chemistry you all have with each other. I wanted to be a part of that and I still do. Maybe you all could just try a little harder to find more interesting questions instead of waiting for the others to come up with them. I really hope you guys don't abandon each other...or me!
