Is Indian Media - Credible or just Sensational?

Both. The media did a good job being sensational about the drawbacks in the preparations for CWG which helped rectify the flaws in time. Otherwise, the administration might not have woken up. In many other cases, by being sensational, social causes have been brought to the fore. Only the repetitiveness is somewhat boring. As for reporting, the Indian media is as credible as any other. The only pity is that we do not get any good coverage of many areas of the world like the Africas, Far East or the Latin American countries unless some calamity happens. The Indian media is mostly dependent on western inputs.

Just sensational according to me. For authentication try to recollect how the attack on Taj in Mumbai was presented.
