Why dont the Government outlaw the drug "Datura" like they did with Marijuana.....................…?

Datura is a powerful deadly dileriant that causes stupor, utter confusion, confabulation. One person took it and chopped off his own penis and tongue. Its caused so many arrests and deaths. Its extremely dangerous. When people are high on it, it turns them into zombies where they cant tell reality from fiction. It sucks out all the liquids in their bodies till they die from not being able to breathe and stops the heart.

With a drug this dangerous, when is the Government going to make Datura illegal? Its a plant and grows from the ground and is natural like marijuana. If marijuana hasnt caused a single death and is supposedly much safer than alcohol and tobacco, why not outlaw datura since its far more dangerous than meth, cocaine, tobacco, heroin combined?

Marijuana is far safer than this and hasnt killed anyone yet but its ILLEGAL while Datura is completely 100% legal with no restrictions on it whatsoever. What sense does that make??

Marijuana helps some sick people with certain illnesses. Shouldnt the DEA and law enforcement go after Datura instead of busting people for marijuana if they really want to protect us? Whats the big obsession with Marijuana. Why has this simple plant caused so many catastrophes and its so taboo with society.
