How do I best respond?

I have been ttc for a couple of years now and due to medical issues (PCOS and Amenorhea) I am still unsuccessful. I have a couple of friends who have also at one time or another tried briefly to concieve but they never seemed quite as serious about it. It is very important and upsetting to me. Lately I have been getting comments from them such as " you aren't over that yet?" and "don't worry it will go away eventually" I don't feel the same. What is the best way to respond to their comments to let them know that it upsets me.

people are jerks, and cant see the forest for the trees.... they might have thought everyone feels obligated to "try" to have children and if it dosent happen will then more time for self no biggie...

they cant understand that driving NEED some people feel to have children, that "I was put on this earth to be a MOTHER" feeling

i would try to avoid talking about TTC or children with these people, and if they do say something, i would respond No im not done trying to be a mother...

in the mean time i would consider Gestaional serogacy, or adoption if fertility DRs arnt optimistic about you chances
