How to make my white patent boots black?

I have these white patent knee boots that I bought for Halloween last year, and that has been the one time I have worn them. Well for Halloween this year I need black boots, and I don't really want to buy new ones, so I am wondering the best way to turn these boots black? Any ideas will be helpful.

There are some spray paints that retain a limited flexibility (to avoid cracking) - check at a major paint store near you. It will be hard, though, to get the paint to adhere to the slick surface of patent leather. I am quite sure that you will not be satisfied with any approach to changing the color. Best to not try to cheap-out. Go buy some new ones. There will be a time in the future when you will want white ones.

for my area i could detect a shoe maker, they do no longer look to be a dime a dozen, u can locate them in a farmers marketplace, downtown the place each and all the great place of work bldgs are, adult males and females use shoemaker on their lunch hour.
