Prop 19 is now FAILING in support in the polls! Why is this..................................................?

I heard that prop 19, more and more people are now AGAINST it compared to for it. Why is this when all over Youtube and Y!A, people are supporting it? Everytime a video on Youtube comes up for NO on Prop 19, theres always far more DISLIKES on them. And whenever somebody on youtube or Y!A makes a comment supporting it, it gets so many THUMBS UPS? Y!A, even in the parenting section, they are supporting it! Whats going on? It seems like people are more and more supporting the legalization of Marijuana! So how come in the polls, the people supporting it are getting more outnumbered by the people against it? I dont get it.

Update 2:

What do you think about the silent majority?

It's the same reason Conservatives get criticized for disliking and voicing opposition on some of Obamas ridiculous policies, it is considered mean spirited that goes against the Secret truth nobody wants to get caught saying.

Most human beings are radical liberal progressives because free will is awesome. However, most people lean center right when they vote because voting and imagining are different.

As to why you see lots of support for it. Well, you're looking at Prop 19 related things. People that don't want to support it probably aren't going to roam the internet looking for Prop 19 videos to watch. Marijuana suffers from being so mild and widespread; it gets passive treatment from people. Unlike the emboldened conservative movement that has an active enemy in Obama, marijuana is just the old "who cares" to most folks. The people who are watching the videos are people who either search for them or were looking at something related and linked to it. That group of people would, therefore, tend to be more favorable to it.

So, what happens on election day. Well, unfortunately for marijuana and free will and humanity and "a friend of mine", proposition voting happens on election day when the vast majority of voters will be turning up to vote for governors and senators and stuff. So instead of getting the passionate Prop 19 supporters out there overwhelming the vote, a bunch of people who don't really care either way are going to show up and not vote "radical change"...they are going to vote conservative, or, "why mess with it." That it's this close is impressive.

I don't know how its going to turn out however it is sad marijuana is still criminalized in this country. I don't even smoke or use marijuana but have grown up in a culture that most americans support the use and regulation of marijuana.Yet we are still in the dark ages of Marijuana is the end of the world.

The whole history is a fiasco if you ask me..

‎10s of millions in tax revenue? Hundreds of jobs created? Reliable pain relief for the suffering? Cut off funding to violent drug cartels across our border who currently generate 60 percent of their revenue from the illegal U.S. marijuana market? Put our police priorities where they belong, by ending the arrests of non-violent cannabis consumers, saving hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars a year and enabling police to focus on violent crime? There's nothing more to say People: IT'S TIME! vote yes! and end the maddness. This will only HELP california.

Not quite sure, maybe because of the methodology of the polls?; despite what it says in the paper about the polls everyone around here seems to support it - whether they smoke or not - it will help the economy/financial situation here in CA alot.

It will never pass. The entire country, in general, is still brainwashed about "Reefer Madness" and "Gateway Drug" nonsense.

This is the same country that elects people like Pelosi and G.W. Bush. Gimme a break.

My personal favorite are "Moderate" Alcohol drinkers who oppose 19. What hypocrisy!

If we voted using facts and science instead of emotion, 19 would pass...unfortunately voters, in general, have never let facts or science cloud their decision...

    Some organizations opposing 19:

    Mexican Drug Cartels.

Every Pot Dealer in the USA.

    Big Alcohol.

    Big Tobacco.

    Big Pharmaceuticals.

Prison Guard Unions (If that isn't scary, I don't know what is)

the opposition... is painting the iniative as not having the same protections as the drinking laws...

age limits... driving limits... intoxication limits.... that may be scareing middle of the road folks who dont want more people behind cars intoxicated with MJ.... MADD is also against the bill... that leads mothers who are mostly female...lol... to vote against the initiative.... it might be working...

I know they've lost the vote of most pot growers who've wised up to what this bill will mean for them financially.

I guess people are really ignorant and brainwashed about this issue. They should learn the ridiculous history behind why it was banned in the first place.

I think people are beginning to realize it's just stoners who support legalization.
