    Hello,

Well I can't say I read the book cover to cover, I used the book as a secondary source for an essay I did. I rather enjoyed what I read as it's a well written book which doesn't deal with the issue over academically. So if your reading on the issue of the Black Death for pleasure I'd recommend the book. However for an essay there are better books which deal with the issue in more depth, also there are some chronicles which date back to the period which give a fascinating insight into the period.

    Hope that Helped.
