Tongue piercing issue?
I recently got my tongue pierced 3 weeks ago. Of course I took care of it and did what I was supposed to do. But I couldn`t afford to get my tongue ring changed. So I`m stuck with it until I get a new one. Anyways, a week ago I noticed a small hill like bump in front of my piercing. I causes my tongue to get sore from here & here. I called my piercer yesterday & she said it may sound like an abscess, but I`m not sure until I go to her. She told me to rinse my mouth with salt water for 2 weeks 5-6 times a day, but I just want to know if someone had/has the same issue & what did you do about it?

My daughter tried this 3 times. Same thing every time. She finally realized that life savers and tic tacs were much safer and tasted better.
