Poll: Would you trust the new Kinect device?
It's coming out for Xbox in the next few days. It's a device that connects to your Xbox, and uses facial recognition to 'scan you in,' so that it can "remember your settings." For what purpose? Why would they develop a device that scans you in, when you can simply choose your user name in the normal fashion? This device is likely connected to the internet as well, and this may seem paranoid, but God knows what that information could be used for. I am absolutely certain the government would just LOVE a detailed biometric digital scan of your entire face and body, for whatever purpose. Next thing you know, just walking down the street you can be instantly identified. This device is even more insidious, because it gets you to do it yourself, and they don't even need your permission. So, would you trust it, or do you think this could be used as a tool by the government for identification purposes, or possibly more than just that?

As crazy as it sounds.... I have also had the same thought. I would like to think that it is just a motion control device for gaming...but my heart tells me the government has something much more sinister in mind....

By the way, its a gaming console , not a friggen CIA gadget. Hah. Yeah you seem pretty paranoid to me because it uses facial recognition as a cool feature so you can have your character like yourself, not to spy on you and get you into the CIA, FBI data-base. And a cheap little thing from eBay posted from Hong Kong might be the type of thing to post info about you on the web but Kinect was XBOX's idea, and XBOX is made by Microsoft, who happen to be one of the most successful computer corporation company in the world, and if they did do that it would ruin there entire corporation, so why on earth would they ?? You make it sound like the damn Al-Qaeda or the Taliban made this!! Its a gaming console so just have fun with it, not use it to conspire against South Korea! Joke! Lol =)

I considered the tar cooking and the bag of feathers as quickly as I got here in. i could tend to be merely slightly scared. exceptionally when you caught karma & me final evening in a compromising place. lol.
