Christians does God agree with cremation?
our bodies are dead and turns to dust according to the bible, ashes to ashes and dust to dust
there would be no spirit of cremation at death the body goes back into the earth where it came from...your spirit is no longer with you and your body is dead so it is no longer the Temple of God...thanks for your answer though

There is nothing that I know of in the Bible that forbids the burning of a corpse. So it would not be a sin for the one doing the cremating and it would certainly not be a sin for the deceased person (since dead people cannot sin).

The Bible gives no specific direction concerning what ought to be done with the bodies of the dead. Cremation is not condemned by Jehovah.

I asked my pastor one time. He said that there was a scripture about not destroying the body, but he didn't push it if someone wanted to be cremated.

I think that's what they dead in the time of Jesus and the Bible says nothing of his opposition to cremation.

I don't see why he wouldn't. It's equal to burying in my opinion. It's letting your body become one with the Earth.
