I confess Jesus the Christ as my Lord and Savior. I believe with all my heart that God-The LORD JEHOVAH-sent His son for the forgiveness of sins and I receive His perfect sacrifice. I repent from all my sins and press towards the high calling in Christ Jesus. Matthew 4:17, "From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." I'm a Jesus Witness, a follower of Jesus and all that He commanded. Have you received a love of the Truth that ye might be saved? 1 Corinthians 13:12, "For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known." Luke 21:28, "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." 2 Timothy 2:19 Jehovah Reigns! http://www.letgodbetrue.com/music/music.php

  • Why do Jehovah's Witnesses teach we will live on a paradise earth?

    The scriptures state:

"But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up." (2 Peter 3:10)

The earth all the way down to the very elements it is made of is going to MELT. This earth is slated for destruction because it has been corrupted by sin and death and YOU guys want to live on it? Why?

The scriptures state we will have a NEW heavens and a NEW earth. Why do you want to recreate the old one when better things are to come?

  • Jehovah's Witnesses--Would you please show me the verse in scripture?

Would you please show me the verse in scripture that says I need extra biblical materials to come to relationship with God?

Catholics use catechisms and Mormons have the book of Mormon others are using Concordances and Lexicons and other books. Many are following the doctrines of men set down in magazines, books and internet sites.

I believe I should obey Jehovah and follow Jesus Christ my Lord. Why do so many groups, including yours, use extra biblical material. Why can't the Bible stand on its own without all these outside opinions?

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)

  • Jehovah's Witnesses Question?

What standard is set by your organization for dealing with someone who presents the scriptures and their testimony of faith in Jesus Christ the Lord?

Should you declare that person lost ?

There may be one here who is not really a Witness who proclaims himself to be one.

Since I started posting here on Yahoo answers I have always had my statement of faith in Jesus Christ posted on my profile.

This individual rarely uses scripture and has never made a statement of faith in Jesus as both the Christ, the Messiah and the Son of God. The only proclaimation he has ever made is that he's a "Jehovah's Witness".

    That is very disconcerting.

Are you believing everyone posting here is really a "witness" who says they are?

Can you tell by their fruits whether they are or not?

Is this person following your organizations guidelines for dealing with someone who believes Jesus is the Savior?

  • Jehovah's Witnesses do you believe this?

Many people want the blessings but not the responsibility of following and obeying Jesus. In fact, the word "obey" often disturbs them. Yet Jesus said: "Come be my follower." (Luke 18:18-23)

And the Bible states: "Those who do not obey the good news about our Lord Jesus . . . will undergo the judicial punishment of everlasting destruction."—2 Thessalonians 1:8, 9; Matthew 10:38; 16:24.

  • Jehovah's Witnesses: What does it mean to be a footstep follower?

Where in the Bible are we commanded to follow footsteps?

I'm just wondering why you are always removed from a personal relationship with the Savior Jesus Christ? Are we to follow footsteps or follow Jesus?

  • Jehovah's Witnesses ?

Do we have life by the name of Jesus or by the name of Jehovah?

John 20: 31, "But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name."

1 John 5:13, "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."

  • Creationists, when someone who claims christianity denies the bible what do you think?

I have seen time and again on here where someone quotes the scriptures and attempts to expound on them only later to see them deny the scriptures and claim evolution over creationism.

If someone already believes what the rest of the Bible says why would it be so difficult to believe that God-who spoke all things into existence through his miraculous power- did so in 24 hour days? God decided on that and told us in the Bible.

To those who CLAIM TO BE CHRISTIANS but DENY THE SCRIPTURES:

Is God now lying to us and pretending an evening and a day described as ONE DAY are no longer one day but eons of time? Is the Bible telling the truth or not?

Aren't you calling God a LIAR by disbelieving his Word over your own understanding?

  • For those who write G-d?

When you speak to others how do you talk about G-d? Do you spell out his name and say "dash" for the missing O?

Do you just refer to Him as "the one who can not be named?" I don't understand how you can consider deleting a letter of the alphabet as something that is fulfilling a law of your G-d?

Can someone explain how do you communicate when you talk face to face with someone about these topics.

If you use this practice what do you label yourself as?

  • Jehovah's Witnesses What would you do?

    Jehovah's Witnesses

--I really need your answers! Any other opinions welcome but please be respectful.

If you knew someone who was dying and could only give them one thing--you had both a bible and a Society Tract in your hand--which would you hand them?

Why? would your answer be the same if another witness were with you?

  • Jehovah's Witnesses and others--Is this true?

I have seen in your writings and have heard from many people that you are not allowed to independently investigate the Watchtower organization without being questioned for such activities and possibly being named an apostate.

    Is this true?

    Why or why not?

  • Do ALL witnesses believe that Jesus, if on earth today, would go door to door preaching for the Watchtower?

    This is a real quote:

"If Jesus was here he would be going door to door with Jehovah's Witnesses preaching the good news of the kingdom of God."

Do all witnesses believe that Jesus would work for a Publishing company based out of New York?

So, is this elder mistaken that Jesus ought to do the bidding of men?

    What's the scriptural answer?

  • Do you believe that Jesus provides you with everything you need to obey Him?

It is clearly spelled out in the scriptures that if we walk in the Spirit we will not fulfil the lusts of the flesh.

This is God's power through the Spirit of Christ working in us to put the flesh under subjection to the Holy Ghost. We are nothing. We have nothing we can do of our own power. The very obedience to the Word must first come from our Lord Jesus!

We have nothing but need, but our Lord has nothing but provision of an endless supply of His Love to provide liberally all that His children need! Praise Him! This is a beautiful thing for the Children of Light!

God, through Christ Jesus our Lord, provides of his great mercy and grace in an endless supply! This is why God is our All in All~He is Everything and We are Nothing~

Have you found this to be true?

  • Will the Earth remain forever and be restored as a paradise?

2 Peter 3:7, "But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men."

The heavens and the earth are kept in store reserved unto fire for the day of judgment, is this what this scripture says or not?

Revelation 20:11, "And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them."

What does it mean that heaven and earth fled away?

2 Peter 3:12, "Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?"

Do these verses indicate that fire shall dissolve this earth and the very elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Even the Old Testament teaches that the earth is burned at his presence:

Nahum 1:5-6, "The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein. Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him."

Is the earth burned at his presence or not?

Was Jesus telling the truth when He states:

Matthew 24:35, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."

Will heaven and earth pass away or not?

    Do you attend a church?

What do you think of the majority of churches today?

Is there a fear of LORD today?

Is there a desire for holiness and separation from the world today?

Are they lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God? (2 Timothy 3:4)

Are you grieved in your spirit over the lack of people (whether leader or follower) who are truly sold out for Jesus Christ our Risen Savior and all the things of God?
