Jesus has already completed the work needed for us to be redeemed. He said "It is finished".
When we believe this unto salvation, we receive the Holy Spirit as a seal through this faith, and are born of the Spirit...a new creation... and then at the Resurrection/ Jesus' coming we are fully redeemed because we will have our new body as well as our new inner creation.
Ephesians 4:30
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
1 Corinthians 15:52
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

The Human race is in a constant state of redemption.
Receiving/Excepting the redemption being offered by God, is the key to whether one is redeemed or not.
Matthew 9:13
"But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance".

To be redeemed means to be bought back and to answer your question it happened when Jesus died on the cross. The price of sin is and always has been death but the problem was that the blood of the animals that were sacraficed was not pure and so a new sacrafice had to be given each time there was sin. But Jesus' blood was the perfect sacrafice! His blood cleansed once and for all! Behold the perfect sacrafice the Lamb of God. The price of all of our sins has been paid and the debt satisfied!! We have been redeemed!! This can be found in the four gospel matthew, mark, luke and john. I personally think john is the best account. Hope this helps. Be blessed!

‘Christians when do we experience redemption?’
We experience ‘redemption’ every time a sin is forgiven, for too be redeemed is to be delivered, and we are delivered from sin when we ask for God’s Grace to intervene through the Saving Power of His Son and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Full redemption on the other hand occurs when God calls us to His Heavenly Kingdom.

When I found the real God and Jesus when I left the Jehovah Witnesses organization and found out Jesus died on the cross for me. The redemption's of all sins by grace through faith. I found you can find the truth thru the Bible and not thru the watchtower and awake magazine. I been an ex-witness since 2005 and greatly happy because of what God has done thru Jesus the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Prince of peace.

Romans 3: "Bing justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus"
This justification is unto Life, eternal life John 3: 15-16 We who have believed the report of God the gospel of our salvation the Word of truth after that we believed we were sealed with the holy Spirit of promise.
We are apprehended by Christ, we are in Christ right now being apprehended of Him and by the indwelling of the Spirit. See Romans 8: 9-10 and Romans 6: 3-4 and 1 Corinthians 12: 13, This baptism is one baptism Ephesians 4: 5 and each verse that I have mentioned is the result in the one baptism. There is no multiple baptisms only One.
This One baptism isn't of or with water but of the glory of the Father which speaks of the Spirit Ephesians 1:13 and 1 Corinthians 12: 13 IN Colossians 2: 12 Paul's says this one baptism is through the faith of the operation of God which faith is the gospel message.
SEE Romans 1:16 which states that the gospel of God which is the cross of Christ and Christ raised from the dead Romans 4: 25. Romans 10: 6-10 brings the thought more clearly of what is meant by the righteousness which is of faith , which is the word of faith we preach, which is Christ raised from the dead.
We are begotten to God through His Son apprehended by Him by the Spirit . See Colossians 1: 27 to see from whom and how it is that we have this eternal life said He would give them who believe in His Son, "Christ in us the hope of glory" SEE also Galatians 4: 6 and 1 John 5: 11. In Galatians 2: 20. "Paul says: I was crucified with Christ , nevertheless I live, yet not I but it is Christ who lives in me, and the life I now live in the body, I live by the faith "OF" the Son of God who loved me and gave His life for me:
In that we are baptized into Christ and it is Christ in us we are apprehended by Him. The Spirit chose to use this word to show forth the strength and assurance we have that God has us. It wouldn't be to strong if we were left to think we have Him, BUT RATHER HE HAS US. NOW IT IS very easy then to believe that our bodies will be changed in the twinkling of an eye, that fast and our physical bodies will be changed REDEEMED, 1 Corinthians 15: 51-53 and 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18

At the moment one accepts they are a sinner, and receives Jesus Christ as the redeemer for their sins.
His suffering and death, and resurrection IS the redemption price for you and me and everyone else who will receive His gift of salvation.
Saved from the coming wrath of God against the sins of mankind.

I don't think we "experience" redemption. It's a gift that has been given to us. It has already happened (see sources below), but we still need to do our part to make it worthwhile.
