What happens to records when a Dr. office closes?

I am trying to get a case together for some medication that may have messed me up. The Dr. that I need to contact for past records/tests has retired and has no office now. Where do the records go? Is there anyway that I can retrieve them? Thanks for any info.!

I wish I had a more specific answer. I know they must keep the records and obviously you didn't have them transferred to another health care provider. I would call the medical records at the hospital where he was on staff. If they don't have them, they would know the protocol. You've probably tried the white pages phone directory/googled his name for contact info. I also guess the doctor didn't sell the practice to another doctor. If all else fails, you could ask the current occupants of the office if they have any info on the past occupant (it worked in U is for Undertow).

I went into exertions on a Saturday morning, 3 am and exertions day weekend. (YAY enormous first birthday arising) you merely pass to the ER. They look after each little thing else. ETA - that's not in any respect your duty to call the record. The medical institution tests you out and makes beneficial you're in exertions. They wait till you're very dilated till now calling the record. The well being care expert won't be there for the finished exertions.
