Do Theists really believe that Atheists rely on chance?

I have just been reading the JWs November edition of AWAKE! and it concerns me that they rely heavily on the belief that Atheists think that the world, life and everything is a result of chance and luck. I appreciate that this is propaganda and the front cover looks more like a scene from Westboro Baptist Church but realistically, do Theists really believe this?

Personally, I don't see there being any luck involved at all. As an example, if you were to keep shooting at a small target until you hit it, is it luck that you hit it? Even if you were blindfolded with one arm tied behind your back, if you kept going until you hit it, would you still see this as luck?

This isn't a rant or intended to offend people, I'm just curious if Theists believe that Atheists think everything came about by luck.

Update:

@SusieQ - So far the only theist who posted but totally neglected the question whilst being discourteous and accusing me of "Christian-bashing." Atheism is not an organised group, it is just a section of the community that do not believe in God. Get over it.

Update 2:

@Amy - Wise words, I too think we can learn a lot from others of different beliefs.

I wouldn't say that theists believe that atheists "rely" on chance - a lot of the disconnect and discord comes from theists not bothering to learn what an atheist (because not all atheists believe the same things) personally believes. However, that door swings both ways, as [some] atheists don't bother to learn what a theist personally believes. There are lots of assumptions on both sides, preventing rational discourse. It's all very sad.

But just as it's easier for atheists to believe that theists are mouth breathing imbeciles, it's easier for theists to believe that atheists are nihilistic science fetishists.

You guys on this site need to figure out you believe. Some say you believe in nothing. Others science. Others say that being an atheist is a religion. Come on. Get organized. Stop worrying about what theists think about you (what do you care?) and get together with your own group for some discussions that aren't just all about bashing Christians. Pointless. Use your brain and communicate with each other.

Judging by the "clever" questions like "would you believe a bunch of car parts could just assemble themselves into a car by random chance", I'd say yes. That is what they believe.

I'm seeing so much evidence that no creationist has ever taken a high-school science course that I am beginning to wonder if science is being completely ignored in home schooling.

Everything is chance and luck. You and I were born in America or Western Europe.

I would say no, they really don't believe it... But that would make them all more dishonest than I'd like to suggest so perhaps they don't really know. Or at least they don't want to know.

If believers can't even be honest about what they themselves belief, how can you expect them to be honest about other peoples' beliefs?

Only the stupid ones believe that.
