With the general discontent at our government this surprises only you.

    Wuite the opposite is true.

At the rate that Obamaa was squandering our money The United States of America will be bankrupt in less than ten years.

Fortunately the House controls the purse strings.

The voters elected a Republican House of representatives to stop the reckless and irresponsible squandering of our money by the Obama Administration.

Face it. Both parties have been disappointing for quite some time now. I know that I have become weary of the whole political establishment. I'll bet if Rasmussen polled Democrats they would get similar results. Less government is always best.

I'm discontent with 90% of the entire establishment. I think a lot of people are discontent all around and with the extreme polarization in this country, I'd be willing to bet that two revolutions are brewing. Not just one. I think the side who knows how to use guns will win, though. Crying isn't an effective tactic.

No, in fact it's just a high amount of political apathy. The Republicans felt as if this apathy for most politicians in general was just a direct result of Democratic policies, but in reality it's just exhaustion at the huge amount of division and immaturity in politics. Most Americans hate the party in power, it's just natural.

No, that is not the point. Voters are so used to people who never do what they say they are going to do that we are pessimistic about anyone changing the Washington establishment. The conservative movement is simply the best current hope to do that. They offered their plan on how they were going to do it, while Democrats basically ran on nothing. Something is better than nothing, to many voters.

Common sense, people! The election ended about 18 hours ago. You really think Rasmussen phoned everybody and got that survey out all in one day? Please think before asking questions.

lmfao! A survey of who and what? The election was yesterday...people aren't going to already be anticipating disappointment in their choice of candidates.

Which right-wingers, the Dems or the Reps?

  • 1 decade ago

No. It merely means that we're very wary and they'll have to prove themselves. The GOP is walking on thin ice and we hope they've learned a valuable lesson.
