Has anyone seen any of the Zeitgeist Movement videos on YouTube? In 2 years they have over 400 chapters.?
It's about where we aught to be going. Controversial, but I think they have some pretty good information and ideas. I was wondering what people thought and if they have seen it? Oh, YouTube has some of their stuff. They already have over 400 chapters around the world and are in 40 of 50 states and who heard of them.
5 AnswersSenior Citizens1 decade agoWhat's the public or your opinion of the Zeitgeist Movement Orientation video here?
I just wanted a cross section of opinion of all you other Yahoo's out there.
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDoes cynicism and septicism rule the world now? Is everything good "too good to be true"?
Maybe I should have asked, "Are you a cynic and why?" Has all the spam and wild claims of advertising made us not believe in anything anymore? There is research out now that will revolutionize the world, so all the news isn't bad. The only problem is, it's not in the news, proving the old adage, "No news is good news." By the time good news reaches people it's not really new anyway, but presented as a 'new' discovery. Anything good though is so picked apart by readers not even the carcass is left. How can we change this to where people listen before they leap? Of course the skeptic will say, with not so antisceptic words, "We don't have to change anything." Isn't that fatalism and isn't that a self fulfilling prohecy? That's too many questions. Let's put it to one question, "Does anyone have any good news?"
4 AnswersPsychology1 decade agoHas you seen this video on youtube yet? Incredible.?
This is so strange but true, that it's laughable and sad. It seems right to me, but I wonder what others think.

And is this second one scientific?
1 AnswerOther - Social Science1 decade agoCan the IRS take your house away if your living in it?
Is there anything they can't take or do? I have a friend you had a contract job and they only took out state and she didn't know that. Now she's in debt for 6k. Do they look at your assets or just make up a payment shedule based on a salary she can hardly live on now? Is it better to ignore it and figure she's better off not getting involved with them?
7 AnswersUnited States1 decade agoHas philosophy answered any questions or do they keep asking the same ones and disagreeing on the answers?
I had a friend studying philosophy for a doctorate and he had to quit. Said it was driving him crazy.
11 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoWhy are some people so mean, have the been abused and they are just reacting by becoming like their abusers?
That's something I never understood. It seems so dumb. And why would sadists enjoy hurting people, or for that matter masochists put up with that?
5 AnswersPsychology1 decade agoAre physicists into metaphysics, even a little?
Some one claimed that physicists where claiming a connection with metaphysics. Is there any truth in that whatsoever? If so, how would they relate?
3 AnswersPhysics1 decade agoIs induction really based on a priori or if everything we know and fantasize is included isn't it close...
enough to be very accurate enough and better than deduction. I find, for instance, if I know I'm going to California tomorrow, that gives me a big enough picture to answer large questions like should I by a house here tomorrow and small decisions, like, I will need a toothbrush. What I mean is are we putting too much emphasis on deduction and missing the world view, considering that atoms aren't having a problem, people are. And shouldn't induction be used more in science instead of getting more and more isolated from the real world and other disciplines.
3 AnswersOther - Science1 decade agoWhat do husbands need to be the perfect mate?
They don't seem to have emotional intelligence or as much intuition as they need. What do you think is the issue with them?
3 AnswersOther - Family & Relationships1 decade agoWhy don't wives have their husbands develop intuition so that they can both be on the same page?
And emotions. Why not have them study emotional intelligence, there's so much free on the net. That's all men need, you know, to be the perfect mate. Isn't it obvious?
6 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoIsn't intuition women's greatest asset?
Science is saying that intuition is the mind set for the 21st century, if I'm not wrong. Won't that put women even further ahead if they develop that talent? And the same is true of emotional intelligence. Seems like an edge to me.
7 AnswersGender Studies1 decade agoCan Christians find the spirit and get around being so literal.?
They must know the letter kills and all the great masters where gentle and kind. What happened. Too much following Paul or others? And what's up with Atheists, is hate one of the rules? Or is that not Atheism, but something else and what? Inquiring minds want to know.

3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoAre psychologists/psychology keeping up on the research?
And are they using research in other fields that affect it like neuro-biology, neuro-linguistics. It seems like the field has to keep up on nearly every other discipline to be viable. That seems to be true of every discipline now with all the discoveries.
2 AnswersPsychology1 decade agoTrue? Avg person has maturity of child?
What is the average? How about different counties. Anything being done being done about it? Or how important is it? Any of these.
