I think you would be best to scrap it yourself. That is a good price for any kind of car, even a complete junker. and if you finally decide to get rid of it, a junk yard will buy it in any state for over $200. You would want to take certain parts out to sell separate before hand, however. For example, the catalytic converter could be worth anything from $5 to $180. Pull the radio out to sell on Ebay. Before you sell it to a scrap yard, try putting it up on craigslist as a parts only car, and say that anyone can have any part off of it for $25 or something.
