I have the same problem, but I can start writing a novel and have trouble finishing it. I just take a break and when something comes I write. I took a 2 or 3 month break from the book I'm writing and it seemed to help a lot. What I would try is look up how to write a certain type or scene or how to describe something. I had trouble writing an abuse scene, looked it up and finished it all in the same day.
