Hi guys, I'm looking for a plain (or flavored) low-fat to non-fat yogurt (regular, NOT greek) that's relatively high in protein and low in sugar/carbs. Also, it can't have gelatin in it, but let me worry about that :) So, does anyone know a yogurt I can try that's not overly sweetened, and relatively low-calorie? Thanks!

I run on the treadmill 6 days a week for about half an hour each (approx. 3.5 miles total) at a relatively low incline each time. But every day after I run I get SEVERE calf pain--it gets to the point where it feels like my legs are going to literally explode. It's sort of like a really bad ache, but one that hurts to even touch and it's hard to do things afterwards (it almost brings me to tears to go into childs pose, when I have to stretch my calves). Stretching doesn't really help. But I was hoping someone might have advice for me...?

I want more general help than with a specific problem. I don't really understand how to do HW problems when they give you phenotype.

For example: if it tells me that 360 out of 1,000 in a population display the recessive phenotype, how would I find the numbers of individuals expected to be homozygous dominant and heterozygous for the trait?

I tried making the 360 => .36 in the P+Q=1 equation, but then I don't know how to find the 2PG (for the hets) because the numbers will no longer add up to 1 in the p^2+2pq+q^2 equation. Is .36 really the q^2? And then I have to find normal q by square rooting? Or am I on entirely the wrong track?

Also: if they tell me that 510 out of 1,000 show the dominant phenotype, how do I find the numbers of individuals for each genotype?

Please help tell me HOW to do these problems and not just what the answers are...thank you!

Most people have trouble with getting inspired, or coming up with ideas of what to write. I'm not like that. Instead, it's like I have stories living in my head, and they're bursting out of me, all the time. But no matter what I do I can't seem to put them into words. I have at least 2 full-length novels completely mapped out in my mind, but whenever I try to write them on paper (or on the computer) it just won't come out. The pictures are so vivid inside my imagination, but somehow when I try to write them down, I feel like no matter what I do I can't do those stories justice, I can't express them the way they need to be expressed. So I get discouraged and don't even try.

I need help figuring out how to write these stories down...I have these characters living in my head and--although this might make me sound crazy--I know I won't be able to rest until I get them out, written down, and feel satisfied. How do I go about that...? I guess you could say I'm a writer who doesn't know how to write :(

I want to make fan videos for shows/movies, like the ones you can find on YouTube. I've done it before on a windows but the software gave my computer viruses and now I have a Mac anyways. What software can I use to make clips out of DVDs and then edit them in something like iMovie? Or should I use something else besides iMovie too?

I don't mind paying as long as it works and isn't *too* expensive.

I'm trying to send the iPod I just sold on eBay but when I try to print out a shipping label from paypal I get this message:

Your payment for shipping cannot be processed because it exceeds your available balance. To raise your balance, you must add funds to your account. Please note that it may take 3-4 days for any funds you add to become available in your PayPal account.

However I have $51 in the paypal account, the iPod I'm shipping has a declared worth of $50 and my shipping estimate is around $8. How can $51 not be enough to cover $8 shipping costs? And can I send the iPod without the paypal label in a safe way? I've never sold on ebay before and I'm not sure how I'll get the money either!

I have a used 3rd & a used 5th generation iPod nano, one in good condition and one in perfect condition.

I like the personalities of rats but I can't deal with the male genitals...I don't know why, it's the only animal I can't stand to have a male of....but I'd really like to have a pet rat, I just want a female! However, wherever I go (and I go to lots of different pet stores, very frequently) they only sell male rats. Why is this? And is there any way I can find a female...?

I just watched the movie, starring Christian Bale. While usually films don't go completely over my head, I was at a loss with this one. I understand it's based on a novel--and I think at the end it means that he was imagining it all? But I don't know. PLEASE EXPLAIN IT TO ME.

I really need a pick-me-up in the morning and was thinking of trying coffee, at least every once in a while. However, I have a very sensitive stomach and so the taste makes me kind of nauseous... I was wondering how well sweeteners like Stevia, or Torani sugar-free syrup will dissolve into coffee that isn't hot (I bought something in a can that's called Cafe)? I don't want to add calories, but I need it to taste better if I'm going to drink it...

I've been considering several careers to go into in the future. Could anyone offer some feedback on the paths I'm considering? Including: salary/hourly wage, years of schooling/practice, career opportunities, likelihood of quality employment, etc., especially comparing these in each field against each other?
