How do I make coffee better WITHOUT adding calories? (advice please)?

I really need a pick-me-up in the morning and was thinking of trying coffee, at least every once in a while. However, I have a very sensitive stomach and so the taste makes me kind of nauseous... I was wondering how well sweeteners like Stevia, or Torani sugar-free syrup will dissolve into coffee that isn't hot (I bought something in a can that's called Cafe)? I don't want to add calories, but I need it to taste better if I'm going to drink it...

    I think Stevia is a good choice, but sort of an acquired taste. Not quite as sweet as regular sugar or other sweeteners. I would go with Stevia though, not the new products made from Stevia. It can be purchased in packets. Or consider Agave syrup for a sweetener, which is also natural and good for you.

    Don't get too hung up with calorie numbers. A teaspoon or 2 of half & half once a day isn't going to hurt you, or even add a lot of calories. Using common sense when it comes to portion size, and eating healthy foods should pretty much eliminate the need to count calories.

    Make cold brewed coffee. It lacks the acid and tannins of hot brewed coffee, so it doesn't need as much sugar added to balance the flavor. You can use artificial sweeteners if you want, but you may find them unnecessary.

    Try black tea steeped for a long tme and this will add more flavor and if you want it be a sweeter add a touch of honey which as healthier alternative to sugar.

    also tea contains caffeine. try a very dark tea (left in the water for 5-6 minutes) and the pick-me-up effects will be similar, but without stomach troubles.

    Try tea, instead of coffee. It tends to taste better.

    I use a powder stevia...Kal brand stevia to be exact. A little goes a LONG way.

    why are you making yourself drink coffee?? well try this, coffeemate had a new coffeemate flavor call honey vanilla creamer and its in low fat or reduce fat and is already sweeten enough you don't have to add sugar at all. using sweetener are nasty tasting, I wouldn't use them.
