I'm an atheist, but not that big on science. I side with Hume's logic.
Science is a great system though.

You don't have to be atheist to love science. Many Christians at my Catholic College believe the Big Bang was created by God.

Atheist deny a Creator. Science finds research to figure out present things.

I'll star, but only because I love all the things science can do for me... like cure disease and make my laptop smaller.
But I am no good at science, no good at all, and therefore, I do not love science the others might. :)

I can't speak for all atheists, but I find science fascinating. I also find begging for stars to be pathetic.
