here are the official Movember rules, as indicated by the Movember Foundation:

    1. Each bro must start November with a clean shaven face.

    2. Then for the entire month of November, each bro must grow and groom a moustache according to these rules:

There is to be no joining of the mo to the sideburns. That’s a beard.

There is to be no joining of the handlebars on the chin. That’s a goatee.

A small complimentary growth under the bottom lip is allowed (A.K.A. the tickler).

For further insight into the origins of Movember, and more official information, you can click here. Hope that helps Ash. Looking forward to seeing your Tom Selek.

I spurn these rules as I’ve been working on mine since Tacheback. Admittedly, I’m hiding the tache within a wider beard-picture until an appropriate Movember unveiling.

On Shadowe'en (October 31st), the complete moustache region, including the entire upper lip and the handlebar zones, must be completely shaved.

For the entire duration of Movember (Movember 1st - 35th inclusive), no hair shall be allowed to grow in the goatee zone - being any facial area below the bottom lip.

There is to be no joining of the moustache to sideburns.

Failure to conform to all of these rules may, at the discretion of the official Movember Committee, result in instant blacklisting and may void invitation to the end of MOnth festivities (this year lip-marked for Movember 35th!)

Movember Committee accepts no responsibility for lost jobs, rashes, food/beer encrustments or any other such mishaps caused to the wearer (or his partner) of a Movember Moustache. You grew it yourself.

There's no such thing as Movember, but November is the time to wear a coat.

Whatever the rules are it doesn't matter, but we guys have to realise that prostate cancer is on the increase. If growing facial hair can save you ,your friend,or your father, then let it grow it down to your knees. Many guys, unlike females have this stupid perception that being examined "down there" is not normal.I needed to have a prostate exam and I was worried would I get aroused etc..I have to say that having my teeth examined,or passing wind in public was much worse than any prostate examination..
