Question about accupuncture licensing?
My insurance calls for an accupuncturist that has an M.D. which I cant find any of or a D.O. I cant even find out what D.O. is any help?

D.O. stands for Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
It is a doctorate for doctors in the United States. People with this degree have the same rights and priviledges as those with an M.D.
A D.O. degree has a similar curriculum as an M.D. degree but it adds a section on osteopathic manipulative techniques.
