With 100 sets of spears and Shields.
Delving deeper, until resistance yields.
Tearing our way through the hills and the fields.
With our army, we will spill your blood.
Storming the village, spreading their fear.
Bearing axes, and torches; much to revere.
Your family's screams are the last sound to hear.
Like we're Vikings, we will lay you to waste.
Plaguing the lands with blood-lust and hate.
The loss and despair is our force to dictate.
Rebellion will rise, but it forms too late.
We are coming in hundreds, sealing your fate.
Like the sharks are drawn to blood,
We're drawn to where hatred will flood.
We quell the rampage, victory is ours.
Enslaving the thousands, the empire towers.
We have taken these lands in our lord's good name.
Your previous monarch now writhes while aflame.
An ignorant country, you carry the blame.
With our army, we will spill your blood.
The endless sky stained black with despair.
While the heavens boil, and make all aware.
For all of your crimes and mis-deeds, this fate is fair.

i do not have a title yet. any suggestions?
i would name it "like vikings" but tht sounds too direct for my liking. the writing isnt literally about war, or pillaging. the struggle is the important part, and the fact that i will prevail is the important part. and of course it has to do with love. so in short, a struggle to break through all the forces keeping me away from my love, and prevailing. if that helped any. im horrible at explaining things=/

Oh wow, this is really BA. Personally I found that the ending being off irked me a bit, but it had an unsettling edge that kind of worked for this. I think its cool!
Anywho, in search of a title, I think something like "Endless War", "The Cry of Thousands" or "The Wrath of an Empire". something that captures the poems apoc. kind of vibe would be good, I think!
