How do I connect a device to my wireless network when that device does not have a wireless card?

I have a DVR that can be hooked up to my home network if I had a network cable. However, running a network cable from the router to the device is not an option. Is there a way to link the DVR to the network by wireless? It does not have a built in wireless card. There is a RJ-45 connection and a USB connection available on the back of the DVR.

I`m not certain that it would work with a dvr, but you could buy a cheap usb wireless adaptor.

I use one for my desktop, which has no wireless card, and it connects brilliantly.

The one below is from China, it`s just an example, you could do a search for one from USA.
