There's a less likelihood it would have happened. The reps don't want to point the finger at GW even though it happened on his watch and he had taken a month of vacation in his first 9 months.

Incidentally, GW took more vacation than any President in history in only his first term.

I certainly don't think any one could have been less Presidential that GWs reaction. Did you see the dumbfounded look on his face when news of the event was whispered in his ear?

I doubt Obama would have started a war in Iraq. GW fooled Congress into thinking there was sufficient evidence of wmds there.

GW by-passed the UN and started a war w/o an exit plan ... that's how anxious he was to "mix it up". It's a classic case of over reaction.

I suspect Obama would have focused on Afghanistan. But who knows ... he doesn't impress me much.

Obama would have dropped his pants and bent over! Obama has demonstrated on numerous occasions, that when it comes to the defense of the United States our attacker is always in the right.

I usually wonder what would have happened if Al Gore had been in office since he really did win.

We would have had no 9/11 and no 10 year long military interventions making us go broke.

He might have gone after the terrorists rather than the oil. Or he might have claimed that its got nothing to do with the US like he did for the gulf oil spill.

He would have gotten up when Andrew Card whispered in his ear "Mr President, we are under attack"

Likely similar. I doubt we would have illegally invaded Iraq though.
