Checking spelling online using a MacBook Pro?

Alrighty, so I used to be a PC girl, and now I have converted to Mac (thank god!) But I'm still figuring some things out. So I have a MacBook Pro, which obviously has just the one big button/finger pad thing for a mouse. No right click. So if I am typing and a word is underlined, I used to right click on it and a list of properly spelled words would come up. Is there a way to do this on my Mac? I have used a mac at work for months but I have a mouse so I can still right click... any help would be much appreciated! :)

Holding the control key down while you click is the same as right-click.

First I'll solve the right-click issue: place two fingers of your hand on the trackpad ("the one big button/finger pad thing"), and then tap the trackpad. Another method is control-click (control-tap).

On my PC using IE 8, no spelling option appears with right-click. Maybe you installed some spelling detection software in Windows. Check the app's site for a Mac-Safari or Mac-Firefox version.

    In Safari, right-click / control-click shows a dictionary option.
