Homeopathy and labour?

I was just wondering if anyone had tried homeopathy to assist in labour, and if so what you found was good and bad about it?

As a doula I have used homeopathy during labour quite a bit. Caullophyllum and Pulsatilla are the two that are mostly used. I would highly recommend that speak directly to a homeopath and not try and self-medicate. It's quite a subtle art and needs to be based on your personal constitution and different strength of the remedies are used at different times.

I have seen some amazing effects during labour though and highly recommend it. If you have a doula or midwife who is also trained as a homeopath then it will be even better as they will be able to treat any issues very specifically and at the very moment they occur.

When that pain kicks in you wont give a toss about anything except an epidural.
