Do you ever feel like you dont belong in this time period?

I would love to live in the late 40's ,early 50's. Women were so feminine ,and men were so sexy and manly. Men took care of their little ladies. Women werent expected to go out and be annoying man-dike career women . It seems like there were actually values ,and life was simple. (I know people probably had financial troubles such as now) but in general ,men had stable jobs like Ford or steel mills, etc. Kids werent all psycho from eating chemical food and a woman was just expected to have kids. When you look at how clean cut and "together" and classy people look in photos from that era , they look like how classy families with lots of money look in modern day. I feel like having a love like my grandparents had is nonexistant. What happened? The Omish know whats up.They have everything.

well....as someone who lived back in the fifties i find your nostalgia comforting.....but, then....i remember the berlin wall going up....and i remember "duck and cover"....the reaction we were taught as school children should a nuclear bomb go off near us....stuff like that, living in the last days....for most people there was a real cynicism....it was hard to see how we were going to get out of the mess we were in without blowing up the world.

    folks had their problems.

fantasizing and romanticizing the olden days is fun and imaginative, but if you ever get to really thinking you "should" have lived in that time....well, it's time for a check in with earth. this is your time, you are my destiny.

    much love and hope. pj

Yes, and I've always been fascinated in 18th Century pre-revolutionary France. I would've loved to have been one of those huge powdered wig, petticoat and bodice wearing noble ladies running down formal garden paths.

    Lol. No I haven't.

Are you a teenager? or maybe in your early-mid 20s, at the most? I can tell, because you're ridiculously pretentious and ignorant. Lame.
